Every golf course renovation deserves a story.
Golf Course Rehab documents and films golf course renovations across the country. The course's own architect and contractors do the work. We bring the cameras, financed through state film office incentives, at no cost to the course. A dakdan entertainment production created by Dan Kost.
The premise
A renovation is a story. We film it.
Across America, golf courses are investing in new irrigation, greens, clubhouses and pro shops. Those projects change a community, and almost none of them are documented. Golf Course Rehab puts a professional film crew on the project from the first walkthrough to the finished course.
The renovation stays in the hands of the course's own architect, superintendent and contractors. Our production is financed through state film office incentives, so there is no production fee. We ask only for administrative assistance: access, scheduling, releases and paperwork.
Document the work. Grow the game. Anchor the community.

The format
From first walkthrough to premiere.
Every project follows the same four production phases, scheduled around the course's own construction.
The walkthrough
The crew meets the owners, walks the property and documents the course exactly as it is before work begins.
The renovation
The course's own architect and contractors do the work. Our cameras capture each milestone without slowing it down.
Post-production
Aerial, time-lapse and ground footage is edited into episodes and social content the course can use in its own marketing.
The premiere
The finished course and its story are shared with the community and a national audience.
Why it matters
Built on three pillars
The stories we tell are chosen for the outcomes that matter most to a course and its town.
Community hub
A renovated course becomes a place the whole town gathers, not just a place to play a round. Junior programs, leagues and a clubhouse people actually want to spend time in.
Economic growth
A healthy course puts locals to work, fills the tee sheet and keeps dollars in the community. Telling the renovation story builds the local support that keeps a course thriving after the cameras leave.
Environmental stewardship
Smarter water, sustainable turf and native landscaping. Documenting these upgrades shows the industry what works and helps courses fund the next one.

Who makes it
A dakdan entertainment production, created by Dan Kost.
Golf Course Rehab was created by Dan Kost and is produced through dakdan entertainment, a brand entertainment marketing agency that creates, produces and distributes television so advertisers can own their audience rather than lease it.
The series was built on a simple idea: golf course renovations are worth documenting, and the cost of documenting them should not fall on the course. State film office incentives finance production, and the course's own team keeps full control of the renovation.
The crew
The team behind every episode
A showrunner, an incentives lead who works with the state film office, a course relations lead, cinematography and post-production. The people who film the renovation and tell the story.
